Recently, the first hydraulic excavator manufactured in Japan with purely domestic technology - U H03 from Hitachi Construction Machinery Tsuchiura Plant was recognized as “Mechanical Heritage No. 48” by Japan Society of Machinery Industry. This is the second consecutive year Hitachi Construction Machinery Group has won this honor for the second consecutive year since the TCM-made No. 1 Forklift Truck “Mechanical Heritage” in 2010. U H03 hydraulic excavation currently preserved at Tsuchiura Plant
