Moesin(膜组织伸展刺突蛋白 )属 ERM家族成员。表达 moesin分子的 c DNA核苷酸长度为 3835个碱基 ,开放读码框内有 1731碱基 ,由此编码 5 77个氨基酸。 Moesin的表达具有相对的组织和细胞特异性 ,它常与ERM家族中的 ezrin、radixin共同表达于细胞膜内面 ,对维持细胞形态和运动起重要作用 ,并参与多种疾病的发病过程 ,如协助麻疹病毒和艾滋病毒进入细胞 ,与 CD14分子共同介导内毒素信号传导过程 ,与风湿性关节炎和某些肿瘤的发病也有一定的关系
