Objective: To investigate the association of serum adipocyte-binding protein and adiponectin levels with diabetic macroangiopathy in T2DM patients. Methods: A retrospective analysis was performed on the hospitalization data of 87 patients with type 2 diabetes who were hospitalized in our hospital from January to September in 2014. According to their clinical manifestations and various examination results, they were divided into two groups: diabetic macroangiopathy group (42 (N = 45) were selected as the type 2 diabetes mellitus group. Forty-five healthy subjects in our hospital were selected as the healthy control group. The levels of fatty acid binding protein, adiponectin, lipids, blood glucose, Data analysis and comparison. Results: Compared with healthy control group and simple diabetic group, the level of serum adipocyte fatty acid binding protein was significantly increased (P <0.01) and the level of serum adiponectin was significantly lower in diabetic macroangiopathy group (P <0.01). Conclusion: The changes of fatty acid binding protein and adiponectin in serum adipocytes may be related to the occurrence and development of diabetic vascular disease.
