广西东南部钦州地区小董—板城一带发育一套由不同的硅质岩、硅质页岩和泥岩组成的地层，过去由很少大化石确定的地层划分、地质构造、空间分布和地层厚度等地质资料有很大的误差而不能再用。我们把这套地层分成三个组，石梯组（上泥盆统弗拉斯阶和法门阶），石夹组（下石炭统杜内阶和维宪阶）和板城组（上石炭统至上二叠统）。石梯组由放射虫Ｈｅｌｅｎｉｆｏｒｅｌａｔｉｃｌａｖｉｕｍ带和Ｈｏｌｏｅｃｉｓｃｕｓｆｏｒｅｍａｎａｅ带，牙形类Ａｎｃｙｒｏｄｅｌａａｌａｔａ带，Ｐａｌｍａｔｏｌｅｐｉｓｃｆ．ｇｉｇａｓ带，Ｐ．ｔｒｉａｎｇｕｌａｒｉｓ带，Ｐ．ｇｌａｂｒａｐｅｃｔｉｎａｔａ带组成。石夹组包括放射虫Ａｌｂａｉｌｅｌａｐａｒａｄｏｘａ带和Ａ．ｃａｒｔａｌａ带，牙形类Ｓｉｐｈｏｎｏｄｅｌａｄｕｐｌｉｃａｔａ带，Ｓ．ｃｏｐｅｒｉ带，Ｓｃａｌｉｏｇｎａｔｈｕｓａｎｃｈｏｒａｌｉｓ带和Ｇｎａｔｈｏｄｕｓ带。板城组含有放射虫Ｐｓｅｕｄｏａｌｂａｉｌｅｌａｎｏｄｏｓａ带，Ｐ．ｂｕｌｂｏｓａ带，Ｐ．ｕ－ｆｏｒｍａ－Ｐ．ｅｌｅｇａｎｓ带，Ｐ．ｌｏｍｅｎｔａｒｉａ－Ｐ．ｓａｋｍａｒｅｎｓｉｓ带，Ｐ．ｓｃａｌｐｒａｔａｍ．ｒｈｏｍｂｏｔｈｏｒａｃａｔａ带?
