2001年,美国地质调查局的全国水质评价计划开始了第2个10a的研究。研究的首要目的是进一步弄清影响水质状况的主要因素,以便建立起污染源、污染物通过水文系统的传输、污染物对河流水生生态系统和饮用水水质的影响这三者之间的相互关系。
In 2001, the U.S. Bureau of Geological Survey’s National Water Quality Evaluation Program began the second 10a study. The primary objective of the study was to further clarify the main factors affecting water quality in order to establish the interrelationship between sources of pollution, transport of pollutants through the hydrological system and the impact of pollutants on the river aquatic ecosystems and drinking water quality.
