威武雄壮,热烈奔放,铿锵有力,浩浩荡荡……说到福山雷鼓,观赏过它的人首先想到的是它的气势。作为一种亦鼓亦舞的综合性古老的民间游艺活动,福山雷鼓大多在庙会和逢年过节时举行。它由表演时鼓声如“雷”而得名,以豪放、古朴的表演风格、严谨的表演程序和恢弘的表演气势而着称。它内容丰富,形式多样,充分体现了劳动人民的聪明智慧和艺术才能,是中国传统文化和福山地域文化的优秀结晶,距今已有200多年的历史。
