Elaclao, a famous British professor, is famous for his revolutionary theory of expanding Marxism and has become one of the famous representatives of Western “post-Marxism.” In his masterpiece The Hegemony, there was a translation such as “cultural hegemony.” However, this translator believes that in his work, Laclau mainly focuses on “state, revolution, Class and revolutionary leader ”and so on in the sense of talking about this category, so here“ hegemony ”translated as“ leadership ”) in a book, Laclau Marxist leadership theory and post-structuralism and other contemporary“ Fashion ”theory of the attempt to attract attention, but also controversial. To this end, he systematically answered the relevant questions in his book entitled “Leadership and Socialist Strategies” in another book, The New Reflection on Revolution in Our Times. These issues relate to the theoretical predicament faced by the theory of leadership and the socialist revolution in the present social reality, including the main body of the revolution, the composition of the class, the class struggle, the opposition and the recognition. In addition, the theory of leadership also involves its internal logical relationship with the trend of modern Western philosophy, such as Husserl’s phenomenology, Wittgenstein’s post-analytic philosophy, Derrida’s deconstruction and other postmodernist theories. In response to these theoretical and practical questions, Laclauo answered and explained carefully. Robin Blackburn, Peter Dews and Anna-Marie Smith, part of the editorial board of the UK’s New Left Review, planned an exclusive interview with Laclau in May 1988. The following interview is a translation from Laclau’s book, A New Reflection on the Revolution of Our Times
