平顶山矿务局三大主体之一的多种经营集体经济,取得了良好的经济效益。现拥有自主经营、自负盈亏的各类公司、厂、队、经营网点477个,就业人员37260人,1991年产值和经营总额达23240万元,利税达1200万元。主要产品有煤炭、焦炭、机械、化工、电器、建材、纺织、家俱、工艺美术、商服饮修十多个种类600多个品种,这些产品不仅支持局内煤炭生产建设,有的还销往全国各地及东南亚、欧洲等国家。平顶山矿务局多种经营集体经济是1986年以后逐步发展的,在1991年全国煤炭销售不景气的冲击下,仍能保持稳步发展,实现利润比1990年增长44.5％。根本原因在于我们始终坚信质量是企业的生命,综合利用内外部环境优势,走以质求活、带动全局的战略路线。
