所谓“支架”原指建筑行业的脚手架,即工人们在建造建筑物时搭建的暂时性的平台和柱子等,而支架式教学则指老师引导教学的进行,使儿童掌握、建构和内化所学知识技能,从而使他们进行更高水平的认识活动的过程(Slavin,1994)。“支架式教学”把教学看作是一个学习者自我提高的过程,而老师的“教”就是必要的脚手架,起到支撑、辅助学习者的作用。具体而言,支架式由五个环节组成:(1)搭脚手
