通生1号是从绿叶东方草莓(Fragaria orientalis var.concolor)花瓣离体培养再生植株中选出的草莓优质新品种。果实圆形;一级序果平均单果重36.0 g,最大单果重62.6 g;果实鲜红色,种子黄绿色,凹陷浅;果肉橙红色,髓心白色、较小,完熟果实髓心略有空洞,肉质韧,酸甜适中,香味浓郁;可溶性固形物含量8.20%～10.00%,总糖含量6.53%,总酸含量0.57%,维生素C含量830.00 mg/kg,果实硬度2.16 kg/cm2;在吉林省通化市,露地栽培果实成熟期5月下旬,温室栽培果实成熟期4月上中旬;适合在吉林省东部地区栽培。2012年通过吉林省农作物品种审定委员会审定。
