In 1997, a seminar on ultrasound methods was held in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. The previous session focused on the ultrasound imaging of schistosomiasis and schistosomiasis in Egypt, the latter meeting focused on the ultrasound imaging of Schistosoma mansoni.
