当前,摆在我们中国广播电视学会面前的一项重要任务,就是如何在十六大精神指引下.推进广播影视理论创新。这是一项必须认真面对、认真研究的重要工作。 理论创新是十六大的一个鲜明特征。十六大的理论创新表现在很多方面,其中一个十分重要的内容就是,我们工作的指导思想有了重大的发展,把三个代表的重要思想和马克思列宁主义.毛泽东思想、邓小平理论同时确立为我们党的指导思想,这是我们党在马克思列宁主义理论创新方面的一个重大的举措,也是我们党在发展马克思主义理论方面的一项重大成果。我们要全面贯彻十六大精神,其中～项重要任务就是按照十六大的要求来创新我们的理论。
