中国图书评论学会、中国图书馆学会今天请各位馆长来此小聚,主要是谈读书问题。人类的文明,知识的增长,社会的进步,离不开读书。图书馆长整天接触书,有的本身就是大学问家、藏书家、品书家,所以我想由图书馆长谈读书,本身就是一个很有意思的题目。我们想通过讨论这个题目起到两个作用:一是把诸位了解到的有关当前读者需要什么书,哪些读者感兴趣的是哪一类书等信息传递到出版界,使出版者与读者之间通过图书馆这个媒介更好地沟通,繁荣我们的出版事业。二是想通过与图书馆长的接触,探讨一下读书导向问题,也就是怎样通过我们图书馆的工作,在借书、荐书、评书的过程中帮助读者创造一种读好书的文化环境。我们将把大家的想法、愿望、呼声转达给各界。我们希望图书馆界为中国的文化建设事业发挥更大的作用。 China Book Review Society, China Library Association today invited the curators to come together, mainly talking about the book. Human civilization, the growth of knowledge, social progress, can not be separated from reading. Librarians come into contact with the book all day long, and some of them are university questioners, bibliophiles, and calligraphers, so I would like to talk to the librarian in my long term. This is an interesting topic in itself. We would like to discuss the topic by playing two roles. One is to pass what you know about what the current reader needs, what kind of book is of interest to readers, and so on, passing between the publisher and the reader The library is a medium for better communication and prosperity of our publishing business. The second is through contact with the librarian to explore the issue of reading guide, that is, through our library work, in the process of borrowing books, recommend books, commenting on the book to help readers create a good reading of the cultural environment. We will convey our thoughts, wishes and voices to all walks of life. We hope that the library community will play a greater role in the cause of China’s cultural construction.
