古今中外,任何一门艺术都必然与美学发生联系。在十七世纪的中外绘画史上曾经出现了一种美学现象——中外复古思想。同时期中西方都出现一位倡导复古思想的艺术家,在中国有宋末明初提倡“贵有古意”的赵孟頫,法国出现倡导“复古运动”的普桑。他们社会环境、历史背景不同,在绘画史上都受到学术界的质疑,但随着艺术多元化的发展,一些学者开始用一种理性的眼光来审视赵孟頫、普桑提倡的复古
Ancient and modern, any one art must have contact with aesthetics. In the history of Chinese and foreign paintings in the seventeenth century, there appeared an aesthetic phenomenon - Chinese and foreign retro thinking. In the same period both China and the West came up with an artist advocating retro thinking. In China, there was Zhao Menfu, who advocated “old fashioned ” in the Song Dynasty and the early Ming Dynasty. Poussin appeared in France advocating “retro movement ”. Their social environment and historical backgrounds are different from those of academics in the history of painting. However, with the development of diversified art, some scholars have begun to examine Zhao Mengfu and Poussin’s retro-advocated vintage with a rational perspective
