On October 1， 2019， a grand rally kicked off the celebrations of the founding of the People’s Republic of China at Tian’anmen Square in Beijing. After delivering a speech at the rally， Chinese President Xi Jinping reviewed the armed forces. Then an impressive military parade started， followed by a mass pageantry. On the evening of the National Day， a grand gala was held， during which a magnificent firework display brought the National Day celebrations to the final climax.
