上海市地方协会是由上海金融工商文化各界领袖人物组成的一个地方精英组织。本文对其在1932-1937年开展的民间事业进行了论析,认为:上海市地方协会通过参与地方治理,有力地促进了“一·二八”淞沪战争后上海城市的复兴和市政建设活动。上海市地方协会的民间事业,既得到上海市政当局的合法性支持,又遭到其施加的种种阻力,这是由淞沪战后上海市政当局在权威重建中面临的困境造成的。
Shanghai Local Association is a local elite organization composed of leaders from all walks of life in Shanghai’s financial and business culture. This article analyzes the private undertakings carried out in 1932-1937 and argues that the local associations in Shanghai strongly promoted the rejuvenation and municipal administration of Shanghai after the “January 28” Songhu War by participating in local governance. Construction activities. The civil undertakings of local associations in Shanghai not only gained the legitimacy of Shanghai municipal authorities but also suffered various resistances from them. This was caused by the plight faced by the municipal authorities in Shanghai during the postwar Shanghai War.
