《简·爱》是维多利亚时期最流行、最著名的小说之一,多年来,许多学者从不同角度对这部作品进行了解读。本文主要从罗切斯特的婚姻实质与圣约翰的“印度传教之旅”两个方面分析殖民主义因素在这部作品上的体现。
Jane Eyre is one of the most popular and famous novels in the Victorian era. Over the years, many scholars have interpreted this work from different angles. This article mainly analyzes the embodiment of colonialism in this work from two aspects: the substance of marriage in Rochester and St. John ’s “Mission to India”.
