Since the 1960s, the study of rock metamorphism has received great attention. This work is closely linked with the underground nuclear explosion and space planning. Underground nuclear explosions are the best method of generating characteristic shock effects in rock mass, and their size and degree of mineral deformation can be compared with meteorite impact. In order to find out the nature and extent of the permanent deformation of the rock subjected to meteorite impact or nuclear explosion impact, some scholars conducted a series of artificial impact tests to further enrich the knowledge of rock impact metamorphism
