传统大学公共英语教学内容枯燥、形式单调,导致学生对英语学习缺乏兴趣,英语听、说能力普遍较差,很不适应当今全球化趋势的需要。英语原版影视融图像、声音、语言、情节和文化于一体,给学生提供了一个真实、生动、鲜活的语言场景。将英语原版影视引入大学英语教学,既可以同时调动学生多个感官的作用,又能够有效拓宽和加深学生对英语的认知与理解,对于提高他们的英语综合应用能力大有好处。
The content of public English teaching in traditional universities is boring and monotonous, leading to students’ lack of interest in English learning. Their English listening and speaking skills are generally poor and they are not suited to the needs of today’s globalized trends. English original film and television images, sounds, language, plot and culture in one, to provide students with a real, vivid, lively language scene. The introduction of English original video into college English teaching can both mobilize the multiple senses of students and broaden and deepen students’ cognition and understanding of English effectively, which is of great benefit to improve their English comprehensive application ability.
