流传输控制协议(SCTP协议)是一种新的Internet传输层协议,Internet工作组设计SCTP的最初目的是在IP网络上传输PSTN信令消息,而且还能够充当通用传输协议。与传统的传输协议相比,SCTP协议允许在一个单一的连接中传输多个数据子流,这种功能可以大大改善高损耗的环境中多媒体流延迟问题,同时SCTP协议支持多宿功能,能够为网络提供冗余备份功能。对SCTP故障恢复机制进行了改进,充分利用SCTP多宿特性为移动Ad hoc网络提供可靠性保障,使其能够适应移动Ad hoc网络的特点,仿真结果表明:该功能极大地减少了故障恢复时间,提高了其在移动Ad hoc网络中的性能。
The Streaming Control Protocol (SCTP) is a new Internet transport layer protocol. The original purpose of the Internet Working Group (SCTP) to design SCTP was to transmit PSTN signaling messages on the IP network and to act as a universal transport protocol. Compared with the traditional transport protocol, SCTP protocol allows multiple data sub-streams to be transmitted in a single connection. This feature can greatly improve the multimedia stream delay in high-loss environments. Meanwhile, the SCTP protocol supports multi-homed function, Network provides redundant backup capabilities.
