南非是一个富饶的国度,其发达程度在非洲首屈一指,素有“钻石王国”、“黄金之国”的美称。它是一个外向型经济的国家,在经济上与我国有很强的互补性,在资源、技术、市场、劳务等许多领域都有很好的合作前景。随着新南非的诞生,我国各界人士对南非的兴趣越来越浓,学术界也加紧开展对南非的研究。仅1994年上半年,就有关于南非的四本专著问世。这不仅填补了学术研究领域的空白,同时也对从事涉外工作和国际问题教学与研究的同志提供了许多很有价值的资料。下面,对这四本书作一简单介绍: South Africa is a fertile country, its degree of development is second to none in Africa, known as the “Diamond Kingdom”, “golden country” reputation. It is an outward-oriented economy with strong complementarity to our country in economy and good cooperation prospects in many fields such as resources, technology, markets and labor services. With the birth of new South Africa, people of all walks of life in our country have become more interested in South Africa and academics are also stepping up their studies of South Africa. In the first half of 1994 alone, four monographs on South Africa appeared. This not only filled the gap in the field of academic research, but also provided many valuable information to comrades engaged in teaching and researching on foreign affairs and international issues.
