经过十多年的实践,人们对乡镇企业的重要性可以说认识得越来越深刻了。据国家统计局统计,国营企业40多年用了4万多亿元,形成了1.7万亿元的固定资产,现在大体是2万亿元的产值,吸纳1亿多人就业。乡镇企业在党的十一届三中全会以前基本上还是空白,经过十多年的发展,到现在已形成5300亿元的固定资产了,1994年总收入达1.5万亿元,工业产值达1万亿元,吸纳的就业人数也是1亿。
