第二届全国人民代表大会第一次会议详细地讨论了有关西藏的各方面问题,决议如下:(一)会议完全同意国务院对于原西藏地方政府和上层反动集团在1959年3月10日举行叛乱后所采取的各项措施。会议对迅速平定叛乱的中国人民解放军驻西藏部队表示敬意和慰问,对积极协助解放军平定叛乱的西藏僧俗各界人民和各阶层爱国人士表示敬意和慰问。
The first session of the Second National People’s Congress discussed in detail all aspects of Tibet. The resolutions are as follows: (I) The meeting completely agreed with the State Council’s decision on the rebellion on March 10, 1959 by the former local governments and upper-back reactionary groups in Tibet. After the various measures taken. The meeting paid tribute and condolences to the PLA troops stationed in Tibet immediately for the pacification of the insurgency and paid tribute and solicitude to the people and people of all walks of life in Tibet who have actively assisted the PLA in settling the insurgency.
