今年5月5日,是全国第六届“防治碘缺乏病日”。今年的宣传主题是“科学补碘,提高人口素质”。为搞好吉林省碘缺乏病日宣传活动,省政府于5月5日在长春市召开了“吉林省消除碘缺乏病工作报告会”。会议回顾总结了我省消除碘缺乏病工作,针对全省第三次碘缺乏病监测结果的病情、碘盐质量等方面进行了分析,认清我省碘缺乏病防治工作形势。动员各级政府及有关部门积极组织和参与防治碘缺乏病的社会行动,为我省在2000年达到消除碘缺乏阶段目标和持续消除碘缺乏病,提高人口素质做出贡献。
May 5 this year, is the sixth “prevention and treatment of iodine deficiency days.” The theme of this year’s propaganda is “scientific supplement of iodine, improve the quality of the population.” In order to do a good job in promoting iodine deficiency disease day promotion activities in Jilin Province, the provincial government held a “Report on the Work of Eliminating Iodine Deficiency Disorders in Jilin Province” on May 5 in Changchun. The meeting reviewed and summarized the work of eliminating iodine deficiency disease in our province, analyzed the condition of the third monitoring result of iodine deficiency disorders in the province, the quality of iodized salt and so on, and made a clear understanding of the prevention and treatment of iodine deficiency disorders in our province. To mobilize all levels of government and relevant departments to actively organize and participate in social actions to prevent and control iodine deficiency disorders and contribute to the goal of eliminating iodine deficiency in our province in 2000 and continuing to eliminate iodine deficiency disorders and improve population quality.
