采用对甲氧基苯甲酰氯(PAC)将聚乙二醇(PEG)衍生为可紫外吸收的产物,再用配备紫外检测器的高压液相色谱检测。结果显示,随着PEG分子质量增加,衍生产物的保留时间缩短。PEG分子质量与衍生产物中最强峰的保留时间有良好的函数关系。小分子质量PEG的HPLC谱图呈非正态分布,大分子质量的PEG的HPLC谱图呈正态分布。该方法可以检出环氧树脂中的PEG400,检测最低极限为0.1%。
Polyethylene glycol (PEG) was derivatized with UV absorbance using p-methoxybenzoyl chloride (PAC) and detected by high pressure liquid chromatography with a UV detector. The results showed that as the PEG molecular weight increased, the retention time of the derivatives shortened. The molecular weight of PEG has a good functional relationship with the retention time of the strongest peak in the derivatized product. The HPLC chromatogram of small molecular weight PEG showed a non-normal distribution, while the high molecular weight PEG showed a normal distribution. This method detects PEG400 in epoxy resins with a detection limit of 0.1%.
