心理学把兴趣定义为“个体对某人或某物的选择性注意的倾向。”波兰拉西曼说“不唤起学生学习的欲望而企图教授学生的教师,等于在打冷的铁。”孔子也曾说过“知之者不如好之者。好之者不如乐之者。”古今中外的教育家、学者都强调“兴趣”的重要性。正如第一位把心理学作为教育学理论基础的赫尔巴特认为,人有多方面兴趣,教育就应该以此为基础,教师应把激发和培养学生的多方面兴趣作为自己的一项任务。1英语学习兴趣低下的现状
