在英语教学中,培养学生必要的阅读技能和良好的阅读习惯,提高其阅读速度与理解能力,从而加强语言运用的综合能力是不容忽视的。从不同的层面和角度出发,很多专家、学者、教师,甚至学生都总结了大量关于英语篇章的阅读方法,但不论何种题材,多长篇幅的文章都是由最基本的组成单位—单词所构成的,因此在英语的篇章阅读中,掌握一些猜测词义的方法就显得尤为重要了。
