作为食品抗氧化剂的BHT(35-di-t-butyl-4-hydroxytoluene)引起了雄性大鼠凝血酶元时间延长,并因出血而导致死亡。
BHT (35-di-t-butyl-4-hydroxytoluene) as a food antioxidant causes prolonged prothrombin time in male rats and death due to bleeding. The authors compared the bleeding caused by the vitamin K antagonist dicoumarol and explored the bleeding mechanism caused by BHT. Experimental 4-week-old male Sprague-Dawley rats were fed with experimental diet containing BHT after 2 weeks of feeding, or diclofenin dissolved in 1% horny gum solution, vitamin K 1 dissolved in olive oil, K_3 and dissolved in 7% HCO-60 solution of vitamin K_2 and so on. Control rats were also breeded with the same BHT-free diet. Each group of animals are free to eat and drink water. Blood clotting activity and coagulation were measured seven days after cardiac puncture
