哲盟林业公安科自组建以来,加强同有关部门的合作,实行联防联治,取得成果。一年多来,林业公安科已和通辽市治安联防大队、通辽铁路公安处等十几个单位建立了联防协议,共联合查处非法运输倒卖木材及野生动物案件11起,并以此为线索,查处盗伐林木、非法捕杀野生动物案件5起,挽回经济损失2万余元。 1993年,哲盟林业公安科将和周边盟市及旗县有关部门联合制定协议,进一步扩大联防战果,控制边界毁林,把现有的森林资源保护好。
