周恩来童年读书旧址,位于淮安市漕运西路174号。1904年,周恩来随父母、养母及两个弟弟迁居于此。周恩来6岁至10岁在这里读书。周恩来童年读书旧址的修建,经历过一波三折。修建立项1978年春节过后的一天下午,时任清江博物馆副馆长的蔡德之、戚庆隆两人来到宣传部向我反映说,他们在一家文史刊物上,看到周恩来童年曾在西长街陈家花园读过书,当年的部分老房子就在轻工机械厂院内。他们要我向市委建议,把老房子修建成
