Harris于1937年发现丘脑下部正中隆起处分泌神经内分泌物质。这一发现表明丘脑下部既具有神经特性,又具有内分泌功能,从而出现“神经内分泌”一词。
Harris in 1937 found the middle of the hypothalamus bulge secrete neuroendocrine material. This finding suggests that the lower part of the hypothalamus has both neurological and endocrine functions, leading to “neuroendocrine”.
