《地理科学》自创刊起已历十年,这十年正是我国改革开放和社会主义建设事业取得伟大成就的十年。回顾《地理科学》走过的路程,可以说它没有辜负新时期所赋于的历史任务,没有辜负广大地理工作者寄于的期望。它在坚持四项基本原则,明确社会主义政治方向,遵循办刊宗旨,提高期刊质量,扩大社会效益等方面取得一定成绩,当然也存在一些问题有待解决。《地理科学》十年来始终坚持贯彻了办刊宗旨。在巳刊出的10卷共35期中,服务于
Geographical Science has been published for ten years since its establishment. This is exactly the past decade that has made great achievements in the cause of China’s reform and opening up and the construction of socialism. Looking back at the distance traveled by “Geographical Science”, we can say that it has never failed to live up to the historic tasks entrusted to it in the new era and has not disappointed the expectations of the vast numbers of geographers. It has made some achievements in adhering to the four cardinal principles, clarifying the political orientation of socialism, following the purposes of running a journal, improving the quality of journals and expanding social benefits. Certainly, some problems still need to be solved. “Geography” ten years has always insisted on running the purpose of running a journal.
