一、价值理念及其演变(一)新加坡国情简介新加坡位于赤道以北136．8公里,北纬1．09至1．29度,东经103．06至104．25度之间。国土面积647．5平方公里,常驻人口418．5万(2005年统计)。新加坡是一个多民族的国家,其中华族占76．2％；马来族占13．8％；印度族占8．3％；其他为少数欧亚后裔。

Singapore is a multi-ethnic country, of which ethnic Chinese accounted for 76.2%; Malay accounted for 13.8%; Indians accounted for 8.3%; others are the few Eurasian descendants.
