结构耐久性不足产生的病害往往直接表现为建筑材料物理和力学性能的退化,例如混凝土出现开裂、保护层剥落、钢筋(包括各种预应力钢筋)锈蚀、钢构件锈蚀等。由于认识到材料耐久性对于结构耐久性的重大影响,人们从一开始就对其研究投入了大量的精力,并取得了不少关于材料耐久性退化机理和过程的研究成果,在此基础上也开展了有关耐久性设计理论与方法的研究。
Diseases caused by inadequate durability of structures tend to be directly manifested as degradation of physical and mechanical properties of building materials such as cracking of concrete, peeling off of protective layers, corrosion of reinforcing bars (including various prestressed reinforcing bars), corrosion of steel members, and the like. In recognition of the significant impact of material durability on structural durability, much effort has been devoted to its research from the very beginning and considerable research has been made on the mechanisms and processes of material durability degradation A study of the theory and method of durability design has been conducted.
