20世纪是东西方文化交流极县深度和广度的时期,也是中国艺术发发展灿烂辉煌的时期。在这个时期涌现了一大批才华横溢的艺术家,张世简先生便是群星璀璨的中国画坛上较为耀眼的一位。值此世纪之交的时刻,笔者拜访了这位声名卓著的老画家。张世简先生出生在素有“画家之乡”美誉的浙江省浦江县礼张村。他的叔父张振铎先生(1908～1989年)是中国著名的水墨画家和美术教育家;他的堂兄张书旂先生(1900～1957年)是中国近代写意花鸟画大师。张世简先生自幼便耳濡目染,受到书画艺术的熏陶,尤其是他的当时任中央大学艺术系教授的堂兄张书旂先生对他的影响最大。成年后他在堂兄张书旂先生的建议下进入中央大学艺术系,后又考入中央美术学院华东分院(中国美术学
The twentieth century was the time when the East-West cultural exchanges between the depth and width of the polar county and the brilliant development of the Chinese artistic development. During this period a large number of talented artists emerged, and Mr. Zhang Shijian was one of the more dazzling figures in Chinese painting circles. At the turn of the century, the author visited the famous old painter. Mr. Zhang Shijian was born in Li Zhang Village, Pujiang County, Zhejiang Province known as “Hometown of Artists”. His uncle, Mr. Zhang Zhenduo (1908-1989) is a famous Chinese ink painter and art educator. His cousin Mr. Zhang Shuqi (1900-1957) is a master of modern Chinese calligraphy and painting. Mr. Zhang Shijian was influenced by the art of painting and calligraphy since his childhood. Especially his cousin Mr. Zhang Shubi, then a professor of arts at the Central University of China, had the greatest influence on him.
