一、磁头:硬盘存取数据主要是靠磁头。磁头的发展经历了“亚铁盐磁头”、“MIG磁头”、“薄膜磁头”和“MR磁头”。前三种磁头是通过增加磁头的密度来提高硬盘容量。而MR磁头则是分为两部分,一部分负责读,另一部分负责写。这样可以使磁头工作效率有极大的提高。 二、转速:由主轴马达带动盘片高速地旋转产生浮力,使磁头飘浮在盘片上方。要将所要存取资料的扇区转到磁头下方,转速越快,等待的时间也越短。也就是说转速在很大程度上决定了硬盘的工作速度。
