今年十月召开的党的十六届六中全会的主要议题,就是构建社会主义和谐社会。这是具有历史标记、意味深邃隽永的一件大事情。它将把正在开展的促进和维护社会和谐的各项工作向前大大推进一步。为此,本期《特别策划》栏目以“构建社会主义和谐社会系列谈”为题,特组编了一组文稿,从多方面阐述了这一问题,供各级领导参阅。在当前和今后一个时期,全省各地务必认真学习领会和贯彻落实十六届六中全会精神,把构建社会主义和谐社会放在更加突出的位置,按照民主法治、公平正义、诚信友爱、充满活力、安定有序、人与自然和谐相处的要求,扎扎实实地做好各项工作,不断把和谐湖北建设推向新阶段!
