计算机局域网络(LAN),八十年代初进入商品化及推广使用阶段以来,已成为各种管理信息系统、过程控制系统和办公室自动化系统的重要组成部分,目前,LAN产品种类繁多,据不完全统计,世界上已达200多种,1982年我国开始引进,至今已有30多种,如:Omninet、Ethernet、3Plus、Pcnet、K-net、PLAN系统及IBM公司的Token Ring、王安公司的System6000等,面对名目繁多的产品,用户如何根据应用的要求,选择适合自己需要的LAN?已成为开发应用系统设计中的一个重要课题,其选型恰当与否,带有一定全局性意义,它不仅影响投资,更重要是影响整个系统的功能和效益,因此,越来越受人们所重视,由于目前国际上尚没有标准化通用的LAN产品,加之某些厂商或推销商不同程度有“王婆卖瓜”的现象,LAN产品也处于不断更新换代发展之中,使用户选型存在一定困难。本文将结合矿山企业的实际情况,从用户使用的观点出发,阐述局域网选型必须考虑的主要问题。
