一、中国钢铁行业面对严峻挑战1.国内钢铁市场需求严重下滑受全球金融危机和中国经济增长周期进入下行阶段的双重影响,中国国内钢铁市场需求下滑严重。国内粗钢表观消费从2008年8月份开始进入了负增长阶段。2008年上半年,中国粗钢表观消费量同比增长16.3%,下半年转为下降9.2%,第4季度为下降13.02%。
I. Severe Challenges Facing China’s Iron and Steel Industry 1. Serious Downturn in Domestic Steel Market Due to the dual impact of the global financial crisis and the slowdown of China’s economic growth cycle, demand in China’s domestic steel market has been declining sharply. Apparent consumption of domestic crude steel from August 2008 began to enter a negative growth stage. In the first half of 2008, China’s apparent consumption of crude steel increased by 16.3% from the same period of last year, decreased by 9.2% in the second half of the year and decreased by 13.02% in the fourth quarter.
