人民卫生防病保健工作,是预防医学的主要部分。建国以后我们很快地成立了县以上三级卫生防疫站以及寄生虫病、地方病防治研究所(院)等卫生防病的专业机构。十一届三中全会以后,卫生部继续狠抓“预防为主”方针的贯彻执行,取得了不少成绩;但是随着农村经济形势的好转,农民生活水平的逐步提高,八亿农民要求我们把卫生防病工作做得更好。我们所以要增办《基层版》和《内部版》,就是要适应这个新形势的需要。
