Objective To construct a new regional blood supply assurance state assessment model based on the use of the blood donation rate of one thousand people to characterize regional blood supply guarantee status. Methods In the assessment of regional blood supply assurance status, the regional blood supply capacity and blood demand intensity must be taken into account. Based on the public blood donation and clinical blood data, the blood donation rate of 1,000 people required by the regional per capita blood demand standard is taken as the Thousands of people’s ideal rate of blood donation rate, apply Vague set similarity formulas, build regional blood supply assurance status evaluation model and apply analysis. Results According to published literature data, in 2008, the blood donation rate for thousands of people in six regions of China was ranked as North China, Northwest, Central South, East China, Northeast, and Southwest, and according to the recommended per capita blood demand level in different regions, and applied The order of the blood supply guarantee evaluation results obtained by the model is northwest, southwest, north, northeast, south-central, and east China. The order of the two is different. The evaluation results can confirm the following phenomenon to some extent: The level of blood donation among the thousands of people in economically developed areas is usually higher than that in underdeveloped regions, but its clinical blood use is sometimes more strained than in less developed regions. Conclusion The model constructed can compensate for the lack of the donation rate of only one thousand people to characterize regional blood supply guarantee status to some extent.
