中国山水盆景艺术一向以富有诗情画意著称。所谓诗情,指的是作品具有诗歌般的隽永和音乐般的幽雅,不但在视觉上美观,更重要的是借景抒情,引导观赏者产生无限的遐想;所谓画意,是指作品必须有绘画的艺术造型效果,其艺术造型效果绝非人工造作,也不是照搬自然,是强调外形和内质的高度统一,达到形似与神似的浑然天成。为了让山水盆景更能达到赏心悦目、耐人寻味的诗情画意般的境界,其造型与造境的构思和创作便成为非常重要的过程。它不仅是山水盆景创作成功的关键,也将是展示作品艺术魅力之所在。
