第1届亚太地区昆虫学大会1989年11月8日至13日在泰国举行。出席这次会议的代表来自28个国家,共632人。其中泰国代表366人,外国代表266人,我国(包括台湾省)30人。 这次会议主题为农药。重点为农药、生防、生物技术和养蜂。有7个学术讨论会:杀虫剂管理新进展、毒理学和杀虫剂抗性、小菜蛾防治策略、昆虫学中生物技术的现状和前景、医学昆虫洽
The 1st Asia Pacific Entomology Conference was held in Thailand from November 8 to November 1989. Delegates attending the meeting came from 28 countries, a total of 632 people. Of these, 366 are from Thailand, 266 are from foreign countries and 30 are from China, including Taiwan. The theme of this meeting is Pesticide. The focus is on pesticides, biocontrol, biotechnology and beekeeping. There are seven symposiums: new developments in pesticide management, toxicology and insecticide resistance, control strategies for diamondback moth, status and prospects of biotechnology in entomology, medical insects
