目的 :探讨KAI1基因的表达与食管癌浸润转移的关系。方法 :采用RT PCR及免疫组化方法 ,检测 35例食管癌组织及其正常黏膜中KAI1mRNA及蛋白的表达。结果 :在食管癌组织及其正常黏膜中 ,KAI1mRNA的表达差异无统计学意义 (P >0 .0 5 ) ,而癌组织中KAI1蛋白的表达明显低于其正常黏膜 (P <0 .0 5 ) ,但KAImRNA及蛋白表达均与肿瘤的分化程度、浸润深度及淋巴结转移无关 (P >0 .0 5 )。结论 :食管癌癌变可能与KAI1蛋白的低表达有关 ,但与KAI1mRNA的表达无关 ,推测这可能是由于翻译后修饰所致
Objective: To investigate the relationship between KAI1 gene expression and invasion and metastasis of esophageal cancer. Methods: The expressions of KAI1 mRNA and protein in 35 esophageal cancer tissues and their normal mucosa were detected by RT-PCR and immunohistochemistry. Results: The expression of KAI1 mRNA in esophageal cancer tissues and their normal mucosa showed no significant difference (P> 0.05), but the expression of KAI1 in cancer tissues was significantly lower than that in normal mucosa (P <0.05) ), But the expression of KAI mRNA and protein were not associated with tumor differentiation, depth of invasion and lymph node metastasis (P> 0.05). Conclusion: The carcinogenesis of esophageal carcinoma may be related to the low expression of KAI1 protein but not to the expression of KAI1 mRNA, suggesting that this may be due to the post-translational modification
