我家门前有一片空地,父亲便把它开垦出来,种上了许多花草、果树。每到春天,院子里总是花香四溢;秋天,树枝上更是硕果累累。
There was a clearing in front of my house, my father reclaimed it and planted many flowers and fruit trees. Every spring, the yard is always overflowing with flowers; in autumn, the branches are more fruitful.
