CIMT已被国际工业界公认为与EMO(欧洲国际机床展览会)、IMTS(美国芝加哥国际机床展览会)、JIMTOF(日本东京国际机床展览会)并列的世界四大国际机床名展之一,而海外参展商所占比例便是体现其国际化程度的重要标准之一。此次来自德国、美国、日本、瑞士等国外的机床厂商占总数50%以上,西门子、哈挺、德马吉和彼特沃尔特斯无疑都是其中的佼佼者。CIMT2005上,他们可谓赚够了参观者甚至参展商的眼球,展出机床前的超强的人气足以彰显企业非凡的实力。
