In 1976 BOSCH alone sold 10 million oxygen sensors to the U.S. market, a number that rose to 50 million by 1983. Today, BOSCH produces 33 million oxygen sensors annually. 1982 BOSCH company began producing heated oxygen sensor, the oxygen sensor can start working in the cold 30s after the completion of the state. This sensor can be heated to 400 ℃, the service life of up to 160,000 km, double the life of the previous non-heated oxygen sensor. 1994 BOSCH company developed a planar ceramic structure of the oxygen sensor, which can be started within 10s after the vehicle into the normal working condition.
