As a practitioner of foundry glass, Richard explores the spatial structure and form of glass sculpture. He created many holes in his works, and shaped the entire external structure according to the holes in order to compress these spaces into the works. Works with glass as a medium, discusses the relationship between light and space. The translucent material properties of glass and its refractive index provide a broader space for exploring foundry glass.
