On August 20, 2014, the CPC Central Committee held a symposium in honor of the 110th anniversary of Comrade Deng Xiaoping at the Great Hall of the People. Xi Jinping, general secretary of the CPC Central Committee, chairman of the State Council and chairman of the Central Military Commission made an important speech. Li Keqiang, Zhang Dejiang, Yu Zhengsheng, Wang Qishan and Zhang Gaoli, members of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee attended the forum and Liu Yunshan, member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, presided over the forum.
