安国古称“祁州”。几百年来,因药业繁荣而闻名全国及东南亚地区,素有“药州”、“药都”之称。早在公元1101年宋朝微宗,为纪念邳彤在安国南关建立了药王庙。该庙建成后,群众集会瞻仰纪念,由香火会逐渐形成以中药业为中心的物资交流会。庙会期间,全国各地药商云集于此,形成四面八方中药材交流的枢纽。当时药商自动组织十三帮、五大会,成为我国历史上著名的药材集散地。“药州”
